Nadine Shank is Professor of Piano and Collaborative Piano at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is Principal Pianist with the Springfield Symphony. She made her concert debut at age fifteen, performing the Prokofiev Concerto No. 1 with the World Youth Orchestra of Interlochen. Other awards include MTNA, Mason and Hamlin, National Federation of Music Clubs, Oberlin Conservatory’s Rudolph Serkin and Pi Kappa Lambda Piano Prizes and Indiana University’s (Bloomington) Concerto Competition. She has performed at the Phillips Collection, Jordan Hall, Tsang Performance Center, Weill Hall, Symphony Space, Merkin Hall, 92 Street Y, Blossom, Monadnack Music, Mohawk Trail Festivals and with the Lark String Quartet. She soloed with the West Point Band in Rhapsody in Blue. Ms. Shank has recorded for CRI, Gaspari, MRS, New World, Spectrum, YAL and Open Loop.
