Judith Gordon

gordonPianist Judith Gordon gave her debut recital at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and has been soloist with the Boston Pops, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Boston Modern Orchestra Project and Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra, among others. In 1997 she was named ‘Musician of the Year’ by the Boston Globe. Gordon collaborates with an exceptionally wide range of instrumentalists, singers, and ensembles, and has premiered and recorded works by composers including John Harbison, Lee Hyla, Peter Lieberson, Salvatore Macchia, James Matheson, James Primosch, and Donald Wheelock. A graduate of New England Conservatory of Music, Gordon is an associate professor at Smith College and a consulting director of Music from Salem.
