FIVE COLLEGE NEW MUSIC FESTIVAL

The University of Massachusetts Amherst Department of Music and Dance is proud to host the third Five College New Music Festival, a celebration of the rich musical life of the Pioneer Valley both past and present. The Festival includes nearly fifty performers and composers, primarily current and former faculty members but also a few members of our student community as well as the community at large.

7:30 PM: Five College Composers Concert

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2013
2 PM: Concert featuring the winner of the Five College Composers Competition, Juhi Bansal, and the presentation of new works for violin duo and piano duo four-hands
4 PM: Concert of electro-acoustic music
6:30: Pre-Concert Talk by David Schneider
7:30 PM: Heritage Concert
